One day, a terrible fire broke out in a forest. Frightened, all the animals fled their homes and ran out of the forest, feeling very discouraged and powerless. Except one little hummingbird, who decided it would do something: it swooped into a nearby stream and went back and forth between the water source and the fire. It kept going back, again and again, and again. Laughing, an elephant watching the scene tried to discourage the little hummingbird:
\n\u2022 Don\u2019t bother, it is too much, you are too little, you can\u2019t put out his fire.
\n\u2022 Maybe (answered the hummingbird), but at least I\u2019m doing my best!
\nThe only animal able to extinguish the forest fire, a Pelican, received the message and rushed towards the stream to help our little hummingbird.<\/p>\n
